Solutions
Different legal assets require different forms of capital. HLC organises its solutions across four institutional families, each with its own published products, its own analysis and its own route to recovery.

Non-recourse capital for the prosecution of qualifying commercial disputes.
Capital for disputes that are still being fought. Merits, quantum, budget, timetable and the eventual path to recovery are assessed together, because a well-founded claim against an unreachable counterparty is not a financeable asset.

Capital against, and for the acquisition of, claims, judgments, awards and recoveries.
Capital where the legal asset itself is the subject of the transaction: a claim to be acquired, a judgment or award to be monetised or purchased, an enforcement campaign to be funded, or an insolvency recovery to be pursued.

Facilities supported by a pool of legal assets rather than a single matter.
Where risk is spread across several matters or several obligors, capital can be structured against the pool. Diversification, documentation quality and the durability of the underlying economics carry more weight than any single outcome.

Liquidity and capital after a favourable outcome and before payment.
Once liability is resolved or a settlement is documented, the analysis changes: finality, obligor quality, enforceability and time to cash matter more than the merits that produced the result.
